When you receive a permanent resident card which is the document that proves your status as a permanent resident is valid, you will be able to work, live, study and reside anywhere in Australia for as long as you desire.

Candidates who score high points between 65 and above stand a chance of becoming a permanent resident, the higher the score, the faster it becomes.

Candidates must create a valid profile by submitting an expression of interest in the Online SkillSelect system, eligible candidates are issued an invitation to apply for permanent residency.

How To Apply For Australian Permanent Residence

The first to become a permanent resident in Australia is to submit an Expression of Interest and create a profile under the SkillSelect system.

Your profile and EOI application will be assessed and you will be scored according to your qualification. If you obtain a score above 65 points, then you are likely to be invited.

After you are selected you will be expected to apply within 60 days upon the receipt of your invitation.

Attach all the required documents along with your application and submit them to an Australian immigration centre.
